The document signing does not mean opening of borders, said political scientist Rasim Musabeyov commenting on the information of the Turkish Foreign Ministry about attainment of a framework agreement on normalization of ties with Armenia.

"I have not excluded that any document, proposing steps to normalize relations between Turkey and Armenia, might be signed, which in fact has occurred. Babacan has not done it during his visit to Yerevan, but still this occurred", said he.
The political scientist voiced hope that the Turkish leadership will further be loyal to the officially voiced positions according to which the borders between Turkey and Armenia will not open without resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
"I would repeat once again that the document signing does not mean border opening. I suppose that both Erdogan and Gul respect their own words according to which borders will not open without a progress in the Karabakh conflict resolution", noted Musabeyov.
