Delegation of Azerbaijani women parliamentarians to attend conference on “Armenia issue” in Turkey

The delegation of women parliamentarians of Azerbaijan Ganira Pashayeva, Guler Ahmadova, Lala Abbasova and Aynur Guliyeva has today left for Turkey at the invitation of Turkish MP, Chairperson of Turkish World Women Union Shenol Bal, the Parliament’s Press Service told APA. Azerbaijani delegation will attend the meeting on “Armenian issue” with participation of Turkish women parliamentarians.

The parliamentarians will meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, speaker of the parliament Koksal Toptan, Minister of State Nimet Cubukcu, chairman of Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Devlet Bahceli. The delegation is also expected to meet with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Foreign Minister Ali Babacan, State Minister for the Relations of Turkic World Seid Yazicioglu and chairman of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Deniz Baykal. The concerns over Turkey-Armenia relations will also be discussed with the representatives of Turkey’s nongovernmental organizations and media. The visit will end on April 18.
