Azerbaijani and NATO experts to meet within framework of IPAP and PAP in Baku

NATO official said the meeting would focus on the current state of the programs, achievements.

“I can say that carrying out accelerated reforms will be discussed at the meeting. Civil control over armed forces, transparency in defense, coincidence of political and military decisions will also be discussed. I believe that we will make progress in this direction together with Azerbaijan,” he said.

Jean Francois Bureau said the majority of Azerbaijani population was unaware of NATO’s activity. Taking this into account, NATO plans to focus on spreading proper information and raising awareness. NATO official said the number of Euroatlantic centers will increase in Azerbaijan, along with Baku and Ganja such centers will be opened in other regions.
