World Azerbaijanis Congress sends appeal to Turkish leadership

The appeal says that the opening of the Turkish-Armenian borders is a betrayal of not only Azerbaijani people but also the whole Turkic world.

"Today the Azerbaijani people voices its concern about the opening of the Turkish-Armenian borders for throughout the whole history Armenians took inhumane actions against the Turkish people.

In the past years the diasporas of Azerbaijan and Turkey decided to take joint actions, yet the current actions of Turkey are unclear", says the statement.

The appeal was signed by WAC co-chairs Sabir Rustamkhanly and Firuddin Parvizniya, chairman of the standing board of the congress Azhdar Taghizade, member of directors board as well as congress activists.
