Parliamentarians proposing to perpetuate memory of victims of genocide, committed by Armenians against Azerbaijani people

Milli Medjlis deputies Aynur Guliyeva and Vahid Ahmedov spoke today for creation of memorials and monuments in memory of Azerbaijanis, who fell victim of genocide, committed by Armenians. They told it today at the spring session of Milli Medjlis.
"On March 31 Azerbaijanis of the world marked the day of Azerbaijanis genocide. It is necessary to hold work on recognition of Azerbaijanis genocide on different levels and not to recall it only on March 31 and February 26 - the day of genocide in Khojaly", noted Aynur Guliyeva.

She made a proposal to create a monument and museum in memory of victims of genocide, committed by Armenians against the Azerbaijani people by the end of this year.

The museum in memory of victims of massacres, committed by Dashnaks in 1918 in Guba against Azerbaijani civilians was proposed by deputy Vahid Ahmedov.

"I urge the president of the country, prime minister and speaker of parliament with a request to finance creation of the memory museum", said he in the parliament Friday.

He said a group of Milli Medjlis deputies  visited a place of mass burial of Azerbaijanis, that fell victims of Armenian genocide in 1918, on March 31.
