President of Azerbaijan receives transport ministers of Caspian littoral states

Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has received Russian transport minister Igor Levitin, Kazakh transport and communications minister Abelgazy Kusainov and Turkmen railway transport minister Deryagulu Muhammetguliev, who are participating in the first meeting of transport ministers of Caspian littoral states.

The Russian transport minister praised the Baku meeting as well-organized.

He said Azerbaijan had seen big development since his last visit here.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of the first meeting of transport ministers of Caspian littoral states, saying there are good opportunities for boosting transport cooperation. He said large-scale transport projects were underway in Azerbaijan.

The President said he believes the Baku meeting would serve to expand cooperation among the Caspian littoral states.
