Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov received Sunday a copy of credentials from newly appointed Russian Ambassador Vladimir Dorokhin.

During the conversation, the Ambassador expressed satisfaction at “the high-level relationship between Azerbaijan and Russia”.
Dorokhin pointed out during his tenure he would make every effort to contribute to strengthening bilateral ties even more.
Elmar Mammadyarov, in turn, congratulated the ambassador on his new appointment. He expressed satisfaction with the Azerbaijan-Russia cooperation, underlining the necessity of using "the existing potential to expand the bilateral relations”.
Mammadyarov underscored the role of Russia in settling the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
“All joint declarations signed by the Azerbaijani and Russian presidents and other documents underline the necessity of resolving the dispute on the basis of the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of borders, as well as in accordance with relevant resolutions and documents adopted by the United Nations Security Council and OSCE.”
They also discussed latest developments in the Caucasus region.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov also received a copy of his credentials from newly-appointed Moroccan Ambassador Hasan Hami.
During the conversation, Mammadyarov expressed satisfaction at the Azerbaijan-Morocco relations. He expressed confidence “both countries will use all existing opportunities to expand the bilateral relations”.
The Moroccan diplomat vowed to make every effort to contribute to enhancing the Azerbaijan-Morocco ties during his tenure.
