President of Azerbaijan receives commander of Turkish gendarmerie

Isik said he is satisfied that Azerbaijan is the first country he visited since he has been appointed the commander of Gendarmerie. He stressed Azerbaijan-Turkey friendly and brotherly relations are constantly developing. He pointed out that cooperation between Turkish Gendarmerie and respective Azerbaijani bodies had been expanded. According to Atilla Isik, this cooperation help strengthen ties between the two countries.

The Head of State stressed the importance of Isik`s choosing Azerbaijan as the first country to visit. The President said friendly relations between the two countries are successfully developing in a variety of fields. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his confidence that meetings held during Atilla Isik`s visit to Azerbaijan would help expand cooperation between the Turkish Gendarmerie and Azerbaijan`s respective bodies.
