President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended opening of music school in Barda.
The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the School.

The four-storey school was constructed by President Ilham Aliyev`s instructions and with support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The President and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva viewed a photo stand featuring national leader Heydar Aliyev`s contribution towards developing the country`s culture and art.

The Head of State toured the School`s rooms which have been equipped with all necessary facilities. He also listened to “Heyrati” mugham in the assembly hall of the School.

President Ilham Aliyev wished successes to the staff and pupils of the school.

As part of his trip to Barda, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended opening of the historical-ethnographic museum here.
The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Museum.

The President was informed that construction of the Museum had started in September 2008.

Exhibits featuring the history and culture of Barda, the region`s model are demonstrated in the Museum.

President Ilham Aliyev praised the work done here, and wished successes to the staff of the Museum.

On March 2 President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived to one of the most ancient cities of our country - Barda, according to AzerTac.

The head of the state and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva put flowers to the memorial of national leader Heydar Aliyev, established in the center of the city.
