President of Azerbaijan receives head of government of Ajarian Autonomous Republic of Georgia

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received head of the government of the Ajarian Autonomous Republic of Georgia Levan Varsholamidze, according to AzerTac.
During the meeting Varsholamidze noted that ties between Baku and Batumi have historical roots and voiced confidence that rational discussions for expansion of cooperation will be held during the meeting.

President Ilham Aliyev stressed importance of economic ties with the Ajarian autonomous republic for the further deepening of Azerbaijani-Georgian relations.
