Congressman makes keynote speech on 17th anniversary of Khojaly genocide

The Congressman Ed Whitfield from Kentucky made a keynote speech on 17th anniversary of Khojaly genocide, APA U.S bureau reports.
The Congressman stated that about 2000 civilians, many children, women and old men fell victims of Armenian aggression on February 26, 1992. The Congressman added that the genocide has been the bloodiest tragedy of Caucasus and Caspian region by now.

Mr. Whitfield underlined that people were killed from near distance and hostages were undergone special tortures and killed. The Congressman stressed that after Khohaly tragedy Armenians begun to commit such kind of massacres in whole Nagorno Karabakh.

The Congressman added that the website http://justiceforkhojaly.org/ established on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, General Coordinator of OIC Youth Forum covered many materials on the tragedy and noted that the website played an important role in spreading of these reports.

The Congressman underlined that he feels sorrow for Azerbaijanis on 17th anniversary of Khojaly genocide.
