Milli Medjlis deputy: "There are some moments on which prices on energy sources can not be reduced in Azerbaijan"

"The proposal of a number of opposition parties regarding reduction of prices on energy sources does not completely reflect the real situation", said member of the standing commission of Milli Medjlis on economic policy Vahid Ahmedov.

He said considering the overall economic situation in the world, prices in Azerbaijan must be reduced. This is an economic law.

"Yet, there are some moments on which prices on energy sources can not be reduced in Azerbaijan. These moments are not made public, as a rule. I do not think that this issue will be discussed in the parliament, as the resolution regarding drop in prices on energy sources can be adopted only by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev", noted Ahmedov.
