Iranian TV channel continues smeary campaign against Azerbaijani deputy

Iranian Seher TV channel continues smeary campaign against deputy of Azerbaijani parliament, co-chair of the World Azerbaijanis Congress Sabir Rustamkhanly, said Samir Asadli, representative of the control-revision commission of the World Azerbaijanis Congress.
He said the channel accuses Sabir Rustamkhanly of support of tyranny by the World Azerbaijanis Congress and Civil Solidarity Party.

"These accusations are not substantiated. The Iranian TV channel, illegally covering the southern regions of the country, also holds propaganda against Azerbaijani intellectuals, people and the state.

Moreover, a group of people in Nardaran, who are under Iranian influence, calls on the residents to protest against intellectuals. WAC is against this pressure and it urges to stop this", noted Asadli.
