Contacts between Turkey and Armenia will gradually pass to the higher stage, said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan before leaving to Davos for participation at the World Economic Forum.
Asked about his possible meeting with Armenian President in Davos, Erdogan said there is no phobia for avoiding such a meeting. "I can meet him", said he.
According to him, Turkey will continue contacts with Armenia in the framework of the Caucasus Stability and Cooperation Platform. "The talks on the platform involve five countries - Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Georgia and Armenia. We will negotiate to execute the Caucasus Stability and Cooperation platform. These contacts will gradually pass to the higher stage. I believe that in the name of stability in the region this idea will be executed in the framework of the fair resolution of problems", noted he.
