Armenian FM ready to meet his Azerbaijani counterpart

"Azerbaijan has voiced its agreement to meet and I am also not against it. I hope this meeting will take place", he told reporters Wednesday.

The Armenian Foreign Minister explained that the meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers will probably take place in Zurich before the meeting of the presidents of the two countries.

"The organization of the meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers before the expected meeting of the presidents is the initiative of the OSCE MG co-chairs", said Nalbandyan.

As Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Yuri Merzlyakov announced earlier, the next meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan in the framework of the negotiation process on the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict might be held on January 28 in the framework of the economic summit in Davos.
