Elmar Mamedyarov: "The visit of Bulgarian President to Azerbaijan is mainly connected with the gas conflict between Russia and Ukraine"

The recent gas conflict between Russia and Ukraine made some European states search ways of getting gas from other sources, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov.
He noted that the visit of Bulgarian President Georgy Pirvanov to Azerbaijan is mostly connected with this conflict and the attempt to search alternative sources of gas supplies.

"At the meetings in Baku the Bulgarian President will discuss issues of natural gas supplies to his country", said he.
