Tereqqi party supports initiative of holding referendum due to amendments to Azerbaijani constitution

He noted that the party decided to hold necessary work for introduction of amendments to the Constitution.

"We are not going to create any initiative group. The Tereqqi party has already created an initiative group, therefore, there is no need for the group with the same name.

The Tereqqi party has chosen its political course to hold its work. We are for all democratic reforms and we support any positive changes", noted he.

Notably, the Tereqqi party, which was earlier oppositional, decided to support candidate from the ruling party Ilham Aliyev at the recent presidential elections.
