Democratic Party of Azerbaijan urges to start anti-crisis measures

A regular session of the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan was held on Monday, reports Day.Az with reference to AzerTac.
As is reported, the session participants discussed the sociopolitical situation as well as the events ongoing in the world.

The party voices concern due to the events in Gaza. The party considers that though the UN Security Council adopted a resolution to stop the offensive, this demand has not yet been executed. This results in death to civilians, including women, children and elderly people. The party urges Israel to stop genocide of Palestinians, while international organizations to give a legal assessments to Israeli actions.

The session participants also considered the negative influence of the global economic crisis on Azerbaijan. In this connection, the party urges to start anti-crisis events. The party primarily demands to reduce taxes, hold state measures to eliminate monopoly and also reduce prices on essential goods.

At the session separate structures were given due instructions due to conduction of a referendum on March 18.
