Gulamhuseyn Alibeyli: "We do not intend to join the agitation groups of opposition on introduction of amendments to Constitution"

"The Aydinlar party is against introduction of amendments to the Constitution and conduction of a referendum. Yet we do not intend to join any agitation group of opposition", said chairman of the party Gulamhuseyn Alibeyli.

He said this decision of the party is argumented by some reasons.

"First, the party has not yet been registered in the Ministry of Justice, therefore, it has no legal right to establish an initiative group. Second, this issue has not yet been fully settled by the opposition parties.

At the same time, it is not ruled out that this issue can be reviewed considering the fact that on the voting day we decided not to support initiative of introduction of amendments and alterations to the Constitution", noted Alibeyli.

It should be reminded that a referendum is planned to be held on March 18 of this year.
