Representation of Chechnya may open in Azerbaijan

Representative offices of Chechnya may open in Azerbaijan and some other countries, said president of Chechnya Ramzan Kadirov at a joint session of the security council of Russia and state council of Russia, held in Moscow under the chairmanship of Russian President Dmitri Medvedev.

The session was devoted to issues of interregional and frontier cooperation of the subjects of Russian Federation in the policy of Russia in the CIS area, including in the issues of regional security.

"Currently, we are working actively to establish external relations with the Russian regions. And currently Chechnya concluded about 60 interregional and inderdepartmental agreements: close and friendly relations established with most of the Russian regions", said the Chechnya president.

"As for the CIS states, we are now working to open representative office in Belarus and Uzbekistan. In the future we plan to open culture and business centers in Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan", noted Kadirov.
