Azerbaijan, Jordan sign protocol on exchange of instructions in ratification of agreement on extradition

On December 19 deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov received temporary plenipotentiary of Jordan to Baku Adil Magomed Adailekh, reports the press service for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

At the meeting the sides stressed the historical friendship, fraternal relations between the two countries, and noted that friendly relations between the heads of the two countries contribute to dynamic development of relations between the two countries.

Khalafov noted that the created intergovernmental commission is important for strengthening of cooperation and said that the next session to be held next year will promote the trade turnover and deepening of economic ties between the two countries.

During the meeting the sides exchanged instructions on the ratification of the agreement on extradition.

The agreement comes into effect on January 18 of 2009.
