Elin Suleymanov: "Azerbaijan's contribution to the dialogue of civilizations can be attractive for Obama's administration"

Azerbaijani consul general in Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov made a speech at the Californian institute of Pacifica, said sources from the general consulate of Azerbaijan to Los Angeles.
As is reported, in his speech Elin Suleymanov spoke of the development of events in the South Caucasus, especially stressing the threat posed by the unsettled conflicts in the region.

Azerbaijan's contribution to the dialogue of civilizations was stressed.

"In this sphere the cooperation with Azerbaijan might become especially attractive for the new administration of Barack Obama. Yet the complete use of the potential of partner relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey by the United States is possible only if this country gives up the policy of double standards and takes an objective approach to the prolems of the region", said Suleymanov.

He also reminded that the comprehensive cooperation between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and the United States laid the foundation for the reached success.

He said in this connection the further strengthening of brother and at the same time mutually profitable relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey plays a special role for the future of the whole region.

"The example can be the recent visit of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey to Turkmenistan", said Suleymanov.

It should be noted that the institute Pacifica was created by representatives of the Turkish community of California and takes an active part in the inter-religious dialogue.
