Yeni Azerbaijan party activists commemorate Heydar Aliyev

He said the party activists visited the Heydar Aliyev's grave in the Honor Alley after which they held a wide event.

"Each year the Yeni Azerbaijan party commemorates the national leader in the duly manner. We hold such events both in the city and district organizations of the party. Today's event, along with the party activists, was also attended by famous public figures and intellectuals.

Heydar Aliyev's role in creation of independent Azerbaijan is invaluable, therefore, we must inform the growing generation about the work, carried out by the national leader", noted he.

Gurbanly also added that during the event popular poet Zalimkhan Yagub presented his poem about Heydar Aliyev.

It should be reminded that H.Aliyev died on December 12 of 2003.
