First Vice Speaker of MM: "Limit on presidency of person more than twice should be eliminated in Azerbaijan"

Asgarov noted that the issue was not on the agenda of MM at present and there was not any proposal in the Parliament on this issue.

"If MM receives any proposal, I will support it. I consider that such kind of limit should be eliminated. Every presidential candidate should be elected without any limit in Azerbaijan. But this is my personal opinion. Certainly, Azerbaijanis should state main opinion on this issue", he said.

The First Vice Speaker underlined that he had not detailed information when the issue would be debated in MM. Asgarov took stance on facts that elimination of constitutional limit was against democracy.

"These opinions are not right. Why is it against democracy?" he said.
