ISESCO is advocating for fact-finding mission in Nagorno Karabakh to conduct monitoring of historical monuments, said ISESCO Director General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, APA reports. The Director General said ISESCO intended to send fact-finding mission to Nagorno Karabakh. "The developments in Nagorno Karabakh are against the international law. The occupied territories should be liberated and displaced persons should return to their homeland. The aggression should be condemned always. We must not to be silent. The mission should make sure that the monuments were not destroyed. We will deliver the facts of destruction of the monuments to the international community and law organizations".

Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri expressed opinion about Armenia’s not joining the conference of the ministers of culture of the Council of Europe member countries. The Director General said Armenia lost such important opportunity. "If Armenian representatives come to the meeting, the dialogue will take place and the sides will exchange opinions".
