Rasul Guliyev's party will adopt a program for conduction of joint actions with opposition

20 November 2008 [18:34] - TODAY.AZ
Open Society Party activists continue talks with the parties in connection with creation of wide coalition of opposition, said deputy chairman of the party Yagub Abbasov.
He said the party has already held talks with several political parties.

"The results of talks will be published after Milli Medjlis adopts law "On political parties". On the whole, the new bloc must unite opposition for the settlement of existing problems in the country. Moreover, there will be adopted a program, under which the parties will work before municipal and parliamentary elections.

The idea to unite opposition was put forward by party activists, not by Rasul Guliyev. Perhaps, the new coalition will include the parties, represented in the Center of Democratic Elections", announced he.

Notably, the party is led by former speaker of the parliament Rasul Guliyev, currently residing in the United States.
