New Qatar ambassador to Azerbaijan appointed

Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalif Al Tani appointed 8 new ambassadors to foreign countries, including Azerbaijan.
Day.Az reports with reference to Qatar News Agency that Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Bin Jassem Al Tani was appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan.

Moreover, ambassadors were also appointed for Russia, Lybia, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Sri-Lanka, Dominican Repiblic and Cuba.

It should be noted that Qatar recognized independence of Azerbaijan On December 30 of 1991 and diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on September 14 of 1994.
