State allocates funds to presidential candidate Hafiz Hajiyuev for holding agitation campaign

Hafiz Hajiyev said the state allocated AZN 28,000 to him.

"Under the court decision, we returned 12,000 to the state and received 28,000. It means that the state has allocated AZN 16,000 to us for holding the agitation campaign", noted he.

The candidate notably appealed to the court after the Central Electoral Commission refused to allocate him funds, as during the 2003 presidential elections, Hajiyev was unable to overcome a 3% barrier and did not return the state-allocated funds.
