Azerbaijani presidential candidate Hafiz Hajiyev has filed a claim to the Appellate Court, reports Day.Az with reference to the official website of the Baku Appellate Court.

Thus, the appellate was accepted for hearing by judge Ilgar Demirov. The court hearing is appointed for October 11.
It should be noted that the candidate appealed to the court because the Central Electoral Commission refused to allocate funds to him, as Hajiyev failed to overcome a 3% barrier during the 2003 presidential elections and did not return the state-allocated funds.
