Assembly of Azerbaijani Associations of Canada supports Ilham Aliyev's candidacy for presidency

The Assembly of Azerbaijani Associations of Canada (AAAC) has released a statement in support of candidacy of working president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the upcoming presidential elections, reported the press service for the State Committee for work with Azerbaijanis, residing abroad.

The statement says that the elections of October 15 are important for continuation of the economic progress, transformation of Azerbaijan into a richer and stronger state, continuation of the activity for restoration of the territorial integrity of the country.

"In the most critical issues Azerbaijan is demonstrating its principal position and is considered a strategic partner of the leading states in provision of energy security", says the statement.

AAAC announced that they call on the whole Azerbaijani people to vote for Ilham Aliyev for continuation of the policy, founded by Heydar Aliyev and successfully followed by Ilham Aliyev.
