The coordination council of the Socialist Party of Azerbaijan held an urgent session, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service for the party.

Reports say that the agenda included several issues. In particular, the participants exchanged views about which candidate has closer views with the political structure and whom the party intends to support during the presidential elections.
In his speech, party chairman Elshan Hasanov positively assessed the socioeconomic and political reforms, held by Ilham Aliyev through the past five years.
As for other candidates, Hasanov noted that he is familiar with their platform and he believes in there sincerity.
Other activists also supported Hasanov and considered it necessary to support Ilham Aliyev during the presidential elections.
It was also decided to propose the same to other left wing parties.
