First candidate bids for opening a new radio station in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council has received an appeal from the first candidate, willing to partake in the tender for opening a new radio station, said chairman of the council Nushirevan Meherremli.
The first candidate, officially bidding for the tender, is Digital.

"They presented the document today. The documents had several technical shortages. They will correct them by the end of the day and present the final variant to us", Meherremli said.

It should be noted that Digital is not a popular company and the attempt to reveal its belonging to any well-known holding failed.

As for the upcoming four days off in Azerbaijan, Meherremli said that on these days the documents will not be accepted but the term of the tender may be prolonged for another two days.
