Chairman of Turkish Party "Great Unification": "Turkey's doors will open for Armenia only after it liberates the occupied lands of Azerbaijan"

24 September 2008 [12:27] - TODAY.AZ
"Armenia has committed one of the greatest crimes against humanity - the Hojali genocide and it still holds an integral part of Azerbaijan - Nagorno Karabakh - under occupation", said chairman of the Turkish party "Great Unification" Mukhsin Yazichioghlu, reports Day.Az with reference to Turkish Cihan news agency.

He said Turkey must conduct a policy of protecting interests of brother Azerbaijan. "During the restoration of the Turkish-Armenian relations it is necessary to put an end to occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia. Armenians must also disavow claims of "genocide". Turkey's doors will open for Armenia after it liberates the occupied lands of Azerbaijan", noted he.

He said he does not have any information about the details of the meetings between Turkey and Armenia.

"If Armenians do not disavow their claims and further hold Nagorno Karabakh under occupation, normalization of the Turkish-Armenian relations would be impossible", said Yazichioghlu.
