Vafa Quluzade: "It would be more fair to offer to Azerbaijani leadership to buy the Armenian-occupied lands of our country"

This was a low assessment of the thesis of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan according to whom Karabakh Armenians may agree to recognize themselves as part of Azerbaijan after the latter invests into Nagorno Karabakh, given by famous political scientist Vafa Quluzade.

"Sargsyan's attempt to offer the idea of "Azerbaijani investments into Nagorno Karabakh in exchange for the referendum in the so-called "Nagorno Karabakh Republic" is extremely ridiculous, for it is clear that in the result of a referendum in Nagorno Karabakh, where not a single Azerbaijani was left after the ethnic cleansing by Armenia, Armenians will vote for independence of the so-called "Nagorno Karabakh Republic", which will not allow Azerbaijan to restore its territorial integrity.

It would be more fair to offer to Azerbaijani leadership to buy the Armenian-occupied lands of our country. The Azerbaijani leadership can afford that.

And after it let Sargsyan share his money with his sidekicks and masters from Moscow, who ensured his presidency", said Quluzade.
