Azerbaijani President visits Gakh, Sheki and Oghuz - UPDATED

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has today visited Oghuz region. APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau reports that the head of state participated in the inauguration of the Sport Complex.

After it President Ilham Aliyev displayed interest with the construction in the park in front of the Sport Complex. Asra Hotel was inaugurated with participation of the president. The head of state also familiarized with the construction of the plant that will produce glucose in the region.

President Ilham Aliyev is expected to leave Oghuz for Gabala.

The head of state got acquainted with the city park, participated in the opening ceremony for a monument to Heydar Aliyev and met local people.

After joining a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Heydar Aliyev Museum and a groundbreaking ceremony for Gakh Sports Complex, Azerbaijani President left for Sheki.

He attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a 100-bed hospital and met local people in Sheki.

He also visited Sheki Agro Indastrit LLC Dairy Plant.
