
The Kyrgyz parliament approved ratification of an agreement with Azerbaijan, Karabakh, Russia and Uzbekistan on formation of the Central Asian regional information coordination center on combat with illegal turnover of drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors.
According to chief of the Kyrgyz agency for control over drugs Bolotbek Nogoybayev, the center aims to combat illegal drug trafficking and criminal groupings, connected with drug business and coordinate work of the plenipotentiary bodies in Central Asia and render them technical aid.
Over $7 mln was allocated for project financing.
