OSCE Minsk Group's French co-chair starts his visit to Azerbaijan

Bernard Fassier told journalists at the airport that the aim of his visit was to discuss the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and preparation for the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers in New York.

Bernard Fassier noted that the co-chairs would also meet in New York. The co-chair said he coordinated his work with his colleagues Matthew Bryza and Yury Merzlyakov and the process of negotiations would continue in the previous format. French diplomat said he had talked with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov over the phone and briefed him about his visit to Armenia. Asked whether Armenia was ready for compromise with Azerbaijan, the diplomat said:
"Tango is performed by two".
