Lithuanian president to visit Azerbaijan

Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus will visit Azerbaijan in November, said Lithuanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Kestutis Kuzmanas, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.
He said the main purpose of Adamkus's visit is to attend the 4th energy summit, planned to be held in Baku on November 14.

The visit envisions the meeting of presidents of Azerbaijan and Lithuania during which the sides will discuss prospects of bilateral cooperation.

It should be reminded that it will be the second visit of the Lithuanian President to Azerbaijan. In May of the last year Valdas Adamkus took part in the second GUAM summit, held in Baku.
