Ali Ahmedov: "Amendments to Constitution depend on people's will"

Commenting on the information about initiative of introducing amendments to the Constitution of Azerbaijan for possible re-election of the president for the third term, Ahmedov noted that this refers to the year of 2013 and the correct decision will be adopted when time comes.

"Certainly, all residents of the country should respect each law, including the main law of the country, which is the Constitution. On the other side the law, in particular, the Constitution is adopted by people.

Naturally, no law is more important than human rights. The will and desire of people is the supreme law. Amendments to the Constitution depend on the will of the people. If people express their will in open, everyone should respect them. If it occurs, we will have a respect to them and obey them", said he.
