New chairman of the Nizami district organization of the Yeni Azerbaijan party elected

As is reported, the conference was attended by Ali Ahmedov, executive secretary of the ruling party and deputy chairman of the Yeni Azerbaijan party, and SOCAR President, MP Rovnag Abdullayev.

Chairman of the Nizami district organization Shukur Mekhrabov analyzed the activity of the organization after conduction of the fifth conference and informed about the future plans and events, facing the organization.

He said that along with the public policy  works, the Nizami district organization attached special importance to development of the city infrastructure.

The head of the party regional organization noted that the party is holding serious preparations for presidential elections. The party intends to carry out agitation campaign in line with new amendments to the Electoral Code.  

The participants elected a new chairman of the party and formed the composition of the control-revision commission of the party.

Sadagat Veliyeva was elected the new chairman of the regional organization by way of general voting.

In turn, Ali Ahmedov voiced hope that the activists of the Nizami district organization will take an active part in the presidential elections and hold all necessary works for support of Ilham Aliyev's candidacy.

It should be noted that the Nizami district organization started its activity in 1993. Currently, it includes 6,331 people.
