The press service for the embassy told APA that Turkey recognized Armenia as an independent state in 1991.

"Contacts have been maintained between the two sides at times within this framework. They also included relations between the officials of the foreign ministries of the two countries," said a report.

The press service considers it unnecessary to search a different context to these diplomatic meeting.
