Arif Hajili: "Even if the Musavat party decides to boycott elections, it will hold mass actions with different demands"

Musavat party will take definite decision regarding participation in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan on August 2, informed party chairman Arif Hajili.
He said the party has already held the election trainings, yet has not yet created election campaign teams in the regions.

"We have a central election campaign team, controlling activity on preparations to the elections. After our decision is adopted by party Medjlis, we will start creating election campaign teams in the regions.

The Musavat party intends to participate in the elections and the said issue is currently being discussed. At the same time, our political structure does not intend to maintain aloofness from participation in the voting process. Even if we decide to boycott the elections, we will hold active mass actions with various demands", noted he.

Hajili also added that in the near future Musavat party will continue discussing tactics of holding mass actions due to violation of the law "On Freedom of Assembly" by the Baku mayor's office.

Particularly, the party plans to define main peculiarities of hold mass actions.
