Central Election Commission starts setting advertisement hoardings for agitation campaign

Special advertisement hoardings are being established in Azerbaijan for conduction of agitation campaign in the framework of presidential racings by candidates, said spokesman for the Central Election Commission Azer Sariyev, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"Installation of advertisement hoardings has already been initiated on the central streets and visible places of the cities, as well as all regions of the country. All candidates will have an opportunity to place their production on these hoardings", noted Sariyev.

The spokesman noted that in the electoral law prohibits spread of advertisement production at the facades of buildings and advertisement campaign can only be held in line with the law.

Sariyev added that advertisement hoardings are set in the territory of the country by the local executive powers.

"In Baku these works are carried out by the Baku mayor's office and in other cities and regions by local executive powers", concluded he.
