Armenia might be expelled from PACE

According to Day.Az, Arzu Abdullayeva, chairman of the Azerbaijan National Committee of Helsinki Civil Assembly, noted that a stiff resolution was passed towards Armenia.

Abdullayev said the activity of the members of Armenian delegation in PACE can be ceased.

"The resolution states the need for immediate release of all political prisoners, conduction of independent investigation and objective consideration of judicial cases and so on", noted the human rights activist.

She said the resolution fixes that Armenia is allocated time for releasing of political prisoners until January.
