Yeni Azerbaijan party to nominate candidacy for presidential elections

A session of the Yeni Azerbaijan party will be held following the official start of the presidential elections and the main issue of the session will be nomination of a candidacy of the organization for the presidential elections, said deputy chairman, executive secretary of the party Ali Ahmedov.

He noted that based on the opinion of the majority of the party members, the candidacy from the party was defined long ago, but as required by the Electoral Code, the party should nominate its candidate for participation in the presidential elections following the decision to hold the elections.

"In this connection, the party, using the opportunities of the legislation, will hold ts session and nominate its candidate for presidential elections of Azerbaijan", said Ahmedov.
