President of Azerbaijan receives Norway's State Secretary

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Norway`s State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Energy Liv Monica Stubholt who arrived here to participate in the 15th International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition.

Mrs. Stubholt stressed Azerbaijan is a very important state in terms of its economic potential. She said the exhibition had become quite an important event in the global petroleum industry, adding it provides good opportunities for networking.

The Head of State noted Azerbaijan had gained rich experience in conducting international conferences. President Aliyev pointed out international oil and gas exhibition aroused a keen interest around the world.

Fruitful energy cooperation between the two states was stressed at the meeting.
