First deputy foreign minister of Iran to visit Azerbaijan

First deputy foreign minister of Iran Alirza Sheikh Attar will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan in the near future, reports Novosti-Azerbaijan with reference to spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim.

He said on June 4 he will be received by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov.

Spokesman for Iranian embassy to Azerbaijan Majid Feyzullah announced that in the framework of the visit the Iranian diplomat will discuss wide range of  issues of bilateral cooperation, including preparations for a regular session of the Azerbaijan-Iran intergovernmental commission on economic, socio-cultural cooperation, issues of Caspian status and international organizations with Azerbaijani officials.

The Minister will also meet with deputy Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan. The diplomat did not specify the date of the visit.
