Police impede conduction of session by Karabakh Liberation Organization - UPDATED

The information was provided by head of the Organization Akif Naghi.

"We held the first part of the session in Qaraqoyunlu village of Sheki. Later we continued it in Yevlakh, yet we were not able to complete the session, as the police dispersed the action", noted he.

Naghi said the third part of the session is expected to be held in Aghdash.

The activists of the Karabakh Liberation Organization were detained today on the road police post in Barda.

According to the head of the organization Akif Naghi, currently the problem is being settled, yet the problem with the activists detention is still in force.

"The Karabakh Liberation Organization is against these illegal actions, as a month ago we sent letters to the executive powers of Barda, Aghdam and Terter with a request to sanction the action in order to hold our third session.

Though we were detained, we plan to hold our session, regardless of the conditions", noted he.

Naghi added that the session involves about 150 deputies.
