Ruslan Bashirli asks President of Azerbaijan to pardon him

I have visited maximum security penal colony No 1, where I met with Ruslan Bashirli, said chief of Azerbaijani Committee against Torture Elchin Behbudov.

"He did not complain about the detainment conditions. Ruslan Bashirli suffers from headaches, resulting from beating with batons during the investigation", noted Behbudov.

Moreover Bashirli asked Behbudov to appeal to the president with a request to release him.

"I also met with National hero Rasim Akperov. He feels bad and can not move without assistance. He has pains in kidney and liver. He did not complain about the detainment conditions", noted Behbudov.
