"Azerbaijan should strengthen its missile defense in the current conditions".

The due announcement was made by Yashar Demirbulag, former chief of Turkey's air force intelligence services.
He noted that in period of his being a military adviser, Azerbaijan voiced the following proposals: "Helicopters were wanted from Turkey for evacuation of civilians from Kelbajar. I did not agree. War is a not a game to play.
Now Azerbaijan has to strengthen its missile defense. If Nagorno Karabakh's missile defense joins the collective system of the CIS missile defense, it can be treated seriously.
According to Demirbulag, it would be naive to expect anything from OSCE and United Nations. "I have never seen such examples in the history. If Azerbaijan wants to own Karabakh, war is the only solution. A strong army should be formed. Attacks should be made not only by land but also in air. All opportunities should be used for strengthening the disciplined army", Demirbulag noted.
